山东省潍坊市是世界风筝的发祥地，其制作风筝有两千多年的历史。当前，世界上70%以上的风筝都是出自于此，“外洋风筝聚拢会”的总部也设定在了潍坊。2006年5月，潍坊风筝被列入第一批国度级非物资文化遗产名录。

在传承与保护上，潍坊风筝传承东说念主们不但建树起非物资文化遗产传承基地，还到异邦进行非物资文化遗产方面的同样，参与展会约略受邀去孔子学院等机构进行本领考验，让潍坊风筝真的飞向了世界。
In terms of inheritance and protection， Weifang kite inheritors have not only established intangible cultural heritage bases but also engaged in exchanging ideas in communication with foreign countries. They participated in exhibitions and gave out skill demonstrations (invited by institutions such as Confucius Institutes)， enabling Weifang kites to truly fly to the world.
